The 18M heritage- listed waterfall offers a beautiful fresh pool to swim in, and a picnic area to enjoy the views all day long.
Josephine Falls is a stunning waterfall, located a 1 hour drive south of Cairns City. Featuring a 1.2KM return walk through lush, heritage- listed rainforest, a natural water slide and beautiful views to settle down for a picnic.
Looking for an escape to the Tropical North Queensland heat? Behana Gorge is a short, 35 minute drive from Cairns city and is rapdily flowing 365 days a year. Behana Gorge offers visitors the chance to plunge into the mouth of the fresh waterfall and swim in the pools beneath. There is a 3.5KM steep walk up to the waterfall, so make sure you bring comfortable shoes!
